System entities

The system uses the following entities:

  • Person: someone whose biometric data is to be analyzed for authenticity. Persons can be added to groups to allow performing identification tasks.
  • Fraudster: a known imposter who is tracked in a fraudster watchlist.
  • Biometric sample: a segment of media that the system adds to a collection of segments used for training a print profile.
  • Profile Template: a binary representation of the unique characteristics of someone’s biometric traits.
  • Print Profile: a container with the profile template and related attributes (such as the calibration model used for training, time and date of creation, time and date of last update, and so on).
  • Group: a collection of persons that can be analyzed or processed by a single operation. For example, the application can perform an identification that uses the print profiles of all members of a group. Typically, members of a group share common attributes.
  • Watchlist: a collection of suspected or known fraudsters upon which you can perform realtime fraudster detection.
