Overview of Media Manager

Nuance Media Manager allows you to securely acquire, encrypt, and store customer media in real time from both cloud and self-hosted sources.

It can interact with a contact center telephony system by translating telephony events related to the acquired audio and publishing the media to its clients, including Nuance Gatekeeper.

Media Manager supports multi-tenancy configuration allowing each customer to define his own connectors, without managing tenant specific resources.

In addition, Media Manager provides a public, secured API through gRPC that provides seamless integration between the telephony system and the Nuance cloud. The API is secured using Oauth2 authentication with client credential grant type.

Media Manager can be deployed as a stand alone component for services that need to acquire media, or along with the Gatekeeper product.
